Classic Motor Show celebrates ten years as ‘Perfect Partners’ with Lancaster Insurance for 2023 show theme
Published: 06/06/2023
The organisers of the Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show have revealed that the 2023 show theme will be ‘Perfect Partners’.
This is to celebrate the many relationships in the classic community including the show working with headline sponsor Lancaster Insurance for the past ten years.
Key points:
• Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show will be held 10-12 Nov 2023 at Birmingham’s NEC.
• The 2023 show theme is ‘Perfect Partners’
• Clubs and exhibitors encouraged to take part in annual show theme
• Tickets now on sale via advanced online booking
With tickets now on sale for the three-day classic motoring season finale, the show theme will come as welcome news to the 300 plus motoring clubs and groups as they begin planning their displays for the show.
Show Director Lee Masters said: “The theme is predominantly designed to challenge the car clubs and exhibitors to interpret in their displays and stands at the show. However, we also wanted to thank and celebrate all the amazing partnerships that are formed in our community.
“As an event, we are very lucky to work closely with brilliant partners, most of which we have a long standing relationship with. We’ve reached our ten-year milestone with headline sponsor Lancaster Insurance, whose team are as passionate and enthusiastic about the show as we are. Over the past ten years, and especially through Covid, they have remained steadfast by our side, and we are grateful for their continued support.
“We’ve worked with Meguiars for even longer than that, who always deliver a stunning focal point with the Club Showcase. Likewise, the Sporting Bears whose Dream Rides Garage is not only a show highlight but has supported hundreds of charities during its tenure.
“But we also continue to develop new partnerships such as our transport partner PGVM and lubricant partner Motul. These relationships are vital for the continued evolvement of our event and industry, and we hope that we continue to work together for many more years to come.”
Whilst the show focuses on its own partnerships, the clubs and exhibitors could choose to take a different direction such as the partnerships between manufacturers such as Mercedes and AMG, Fiat and Abarth, etc.
There’s also design partnerships, drivers and cars in motorsport, cars made famous by TV and film double acts, marques that have a strong link to a venue, event or celebrity, the options are endless...
Alternatively, more and more clubs are starting to work together such as the Triumph and MG clubs, all Austin related clubs, to create unique celebrations of marque milestones.
Andrew Evanson, Senior Operations Manager for Lancaster, said: “We’re passionate about celebrating the incredible relationships and camaraderie that we have within our community, whether that’s shining a spotlight on enthusiasts and their pride and joys or sharing stories about the great work clubs and businesses do to keep our industry prospering.
‘Perfect Partners’ is a theme that will touch many and it’s also a fantastic way to celebrate our 10 year bond with the Classic Motor Show. The show has a special place in our hearts, like it does for so many, and we’re looking forward to November to mark the occasion with everyone.”
