Spitfire and Bentley Blower to light up Flywheel at Bicester Heritage

Published: 25/04/2023

Two British heroes have joined the line-up for Flywheel, taking place at Bicester Heritage on 17-18 June.

One of the earliest airworthy Spitfires, and one of very few that saw service in the Second World War and still flies today, will swoop in on Saturday and return to Duxford on Sunday afternoon, making for an unmissable sight alongside the Bristol Blenheim.

On track, Bentley's most famous race car will lead the Le Mans demonstrations to celebrate the centenary of the 24 hour enduro. Sir Henry 'Tim' Birkin's Blower from the 1930 race is now preserved in the Bentley Motors heritage collection and will roar around the Experience & Demonstration Track.

Le Mans is just one of the automotive milestones that will be celebrated, join us on 17-18 June, Father's Day weekend, with tickets from £7.50.
