Restoration Show Discount for FBHVC Affiliates

Historic vehicle club members whose clubs are affiliated to the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs can enjoy a discount on tickets to the inaugural Practical Classics Restoration Show, held at Birmingham's NEC on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th of April.
This brand new show is organised by Clarion Events, the same team behind the UK's biggest Classic Motor Show, in partnership with Practical Classics magazine. It focuses on everything you need to know about restoring your classic – be it in your own garage or engaging the services of a professional restorer.
Members of affiliated clubs can get a discount on advanced ticket prices for both single adult tickets and family tickets. Save £4.50 on a pair of adult tickets by quoting code RS14EC or £12 on a family ticket that admits two adults and up to three children with code RS14CF when booking online.
With two huge, jam-packed halls there'll be plenty to see and do at the show with a Live Stage, hosted by Practical Classics Editor Danny Hopkins, as well as a workshop area, full of tools and parts, to develop your practical skills with a daily schedule of informative demonstrations. You'll be able to learn from the very best in the industry as the team from Leeds City College teach everything from welding to panel beating, lead-loading to tuning, rewiring and much more.
Experts will also be on hand to listen to, and advise on your classic car conundrums in the Footman James Classic Car E.R. – whatever your classic's problem, you'll find the answer at the E.R's question and answer sessions. There will also be dedicated workshops on everything from buying and selling project cars, to leather care and dealing with rust.
If you're looking for inspiration for your next project, you'll want to check out the show's Heritage Insurance Barn Find display. Bringing together a fantastic mix of marques in various states of repair, this is set to be the biggest selection of undiscovered classics ever seen at a single event in the UK.
On the other hand if you're after something a little closer to being road-ready, the show will also host a broad range of classics for sale, including barn finds, project and on the road cars. Whatever your budget, there'll be a car to suit from one of the dealers or in Silverstone Auctions' Restoration Sale.
You can also vote in the final of the Practical Classics Restorer of the Year, see the fantastic restoration projects from like-minded enthusiasts in the Pride of Restoration display or see what projects are underway from other car clubs or private owners on Restoration Row.
As you'd expect from a restoration show there'll also be a huge selection of trade stands, with over 150 specialists and suppliers set to attend as well as that all-important Autojumble – the place to find that rare spare or missing part.
FBHVC will be on Stand 2 – 289, and will be exhibiting two unusual barn find 'projects' part of the growing eclectic collection of Andy Heywood, managing director of Maserati restorers, McGrath Maserati. They are both as found being a 1954 Fiat Topolino and a rare 1963 Innocenti IM3, a car bearing more than a passing resemblance to the venerable Morris 1100.
Trade and Skill director, Karl Carter will be interviewed on the live stage on both days where he will reveal the latest news on the FFBHVC Modern Apprenticeship in Historic Vehicle restoration.
