Classic Assessments Celebrate their 30th Anniversary

Classic Assessments, the Historic Vehicle Assessors and Inspection Specialist are celebrating their 30th Anniversary in 2023. Established in January 1993, the organisation has provided independent Pre-Purchase Inspections, Valuation opinions, Engineer’s Reports and Expert Witness services on Historic Vehicles, including Vintage, Classic and Modern Classics through-out the UK, Europe and other parts of the world for enthusiasts, owners, insurance companies and others. We also assess Historic Commercials and PSVs.

Over 5,450 pre-1990 vehicles have been inspected and assessed in the past 30 years by Classic Assessments. More recently the organisation has assessed some makes and models manufactured post 1990, with around another 450 modern classics being assessed.

Classic Assessments services are recommended by several clubs, including the RREC, JEC, TR Register, MG Car Club, Porsche GB and the Morris Minor Owners Club, to name but a few. Classic Assessments services include:

Pre-Purchase Inspection – Providing an independent and realistic assessment of a vehicle prior to purchase. Includes an in-depth inspection and a detailed report. Checking on the vehicle’s condition, safety and the quality of repairs, etc.
Valuation opinion – Providing an up to date and researched opinion on a vehicle’s valuation and includes an assessment of the vehicle’s condition. For insurance/probate etc.
