Autosparks are UK manufacturers of replica wiring harnesses for a range of classic cars, as well as looms for kit cars and OEM customers.

Established in 1977, Autosparks have built their extensive catalogue of harness patterns by reverse-engineering original looms. Each one is finished to the manufacturer’s original finish and colours, whether taped or cotton braided. Not only do they offer harnesses for classic British cars, but also motorcycles, commercial vehicles, kit cars, tractors and coaches as well as an increasing range of European classic vehicles.

At their base in the East Midlands, the skilled team manufacture each wiring harness by hand. From cutting each wire to length, to operating the bank of cotton braiding machines, each and every step is done in house. With many staff members having been with them for decades, the Autosparks team has the experience and skills needed to create high quality products that will last for decades to come.

They also source parts and tooling from nearby businesses where possible, investing heavily in the local economy.

A range of modifications is available for the looms, from audio feeds to alternator conversion, and are incorporated at build stage, meaning a truly bespoke built wiring harness.

The harness finder tool on the Autosparks website (under “Wiring Harnesses” on the home page) will take you through the details of the vehicle in order to find the correct harnesses available. If no looms are returned, the experienced technical team can assess the vehicle original wiring to see if they can replicate it for you, often even if the original is damaged.

Online and at the service desk, you’ll also find a range of electrical components, with tiered pricing for great value. And they offer a rebraiding service for homemade harnesses or original looms that are electrically sound but need a tidy up.
