VSCC Announces 2022 Calendar

Where history meets competition…
The Vintage Sports-Car Club, founded in 1934, are delighted to announce their 2022 Race and Speed Calendar.

Following a successful year in 2021 that saw the Club win two Club of the Year Awards alongside the Royal Automobile Club’s Competitive Event of the Year, 2022 is set to be another exciting year for the VSCC.

Winter fettling has seen some reorganisation of the usual race calendar with perennial favourite Cadwell park serving as season opener and the Club enjoying a visit to Silverstone in the height of summer. The sprint and hillclimb events keep their traditional format, with the Club’s long standing visit to Prescott occupying the normal August spot.

In addition to the race and speed calendar, the legendary Pomeroy Trophy is a unique event, in which the speed and agility of pre-war cars are pitted against those of newer road cars. This single day event on the 19th February 2022 on the Grand Prix circuit at Silverstone heralds the 66th ‘Pom’ in the quest to find the best touring car.
