Seven Design Associates brings classic icons to life at the NEC Classic Motor Show with Hall of Fame panels

Seven Design Associates, a proud new member of the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC), recently collaborated with the organisers of the NEC Classic Motor Show to design the Hall of Fame exhibition that celebrates icons within the classic vehicle world.
For the first time in the show’s 40-year history, four distinct inductees were honoured with custom panels designed by Seven Design Associates, marking an exciting new tradition in the classic motoring community.
The Hall of Fame exhibition at this year’s show celebrated four inspiring categories. In the “Classic Car” category, the Jaguar E-Type took centre stage, paying homage to its status as a design legend.
The “Motoring Club” category honoured The Jowett Car Club, a group recognised for its dedication to heritage and community. The “Community Ambassador” award highlighted Mike Brewer, while the “Industry Ambassador” category celebrated the Federation’s own David Whale for his invaluable contributions to the classic car industry.
Reflecting on this project, Mark Baker, founder of Seven Design Associates, remarked, “Projects like these are very special to work on. It’s lovely to create a visual story that represents some very talented and hardworking clubs and individuals who play such a big role in the classic car community.”
Mark was on-site to witness the unveiling of these exhibition panels, bringing his expertise not only to the Hall of Fame but also to his own stand in Hall 3A, where he showcased his unique Car Show Boards. There were also examples of these visually engaging boards, on stands around the show, helping visitors connect with both vehicles and the stories behind them.
