OldenCars launches classic car sharing platform

OldenCars today announces the launch of its classic car sharing platform www.oldencars.com, offering a nationwide selection of classics for self-drive leisure hire.
The biggest challenge for classics owners is to drive their car enough to justify its upkeep. Meanwhile thousands more enthusiasts aspire to drive a classic, but buying, storing and maintaining one is often not practical.
OldenCars bridges this gap by offering classics owners a secure and convenient way to share their cars with enthusiasts who’d like to drive them. Car owners stay in complete control by setting their own prices, deciding when their car is available and accepting or rejecting booking requests from drivers. A member to member review system allows all owners to rate drivers who book their cars, and vice versa.
OldenCars is also delighted to announce it is are working with leading classics insurer, Lancaster Insurance Services, to provide comprehensive, specialist insurance for its bookings.
“Classic cars are interesting. They have character, they’re quirky,” said Anna Mannion, CEO OldenCars. “Sadly, as I experienced first-hand, many classics owners don’t have enough time to drive their car regularly to keep it running well, yet thousands more people would love the opportunity to get behind the wheel. We’ve created a community to connect classic car enthusiasts and keep these beautiful cars on the road.”
