It is needless to say that we are all totally devastated by the passing of our former brand ambassador and friend, Sir Stirling Moss OBE and our thoughts go out to his family and Lady Susie.

We are in no doubt that the tributes to this true motoring genius will come flooding in from around the world – the many unforgettable victories and achievements he recorded throughout his celebrated career have touched so many people and made such an impact on the world of motorsport.
 
Having worked with Stirling for many years, we have had the pleasure of witnessing first-hand his bravery and courage, his commitment to work and his passion for life, which made him a cultural icon and a great British role model.

But to us, and many others, he was so much more than that.

Not only was he a fantastic ambassador for our brand - he was a true friend. His sense of humour and daredevil spirit came naturally both on and off the track, yet all the while he maintained an unmatched level of professionalism - these traits are perhaps part of the reason he was such a joy to work with.

Over the years his popularity continued to grow, and time after time, fans young and old queued to meet him at the many events he accompanied us to – in fact, one of our favourite memories is of the seven standing ovations he received during his visit to the Classic Motor Show in 2016.

Though, like countless others, we will obviously miss him terribly, we feel very lucky to have had the pleasure of working so closely with him for so many years and are extremely proud of ‘our’ Stirling and will be sharing our favourite memories of our times together on our Facebook page over the coming week.
