Hurry! Last chance to see the Max Power Ecosse exhibition
Published: 18/10/2023
The exhibition, in full swing at Dundee Museum of Transport, is in its last weeks before ending on 30 October when the museum shuts for the winter season. The museum reopens, with a new exhibition, in March 2024.
Come along to the museum to see the dazzling “Impact”, a Hot Pink Pearl Peugeot. This car was the dream of lottery winner Lisa Dougan who transformed a brand new Aegean blue 206cc into a show-stopping masterpiece which went on to grace the covers of Fast Car magazine and turn heads at major car shows.
“Retro Racer”, a stunning Peugeot 205 meticulously restyled by Chris Kelly has shifted hues from red to orange, and finally settled in an electrifying Kawasaki green with a blue pearl topping, giving it an unmissable sheen. This iconic car made its debut at Max Power Live NEC 2004, scooping up the ‘Best French Car of Show’ title. It also featured in ‘Fast & Modified’ in 2005.
This Peugeot 206 vision is a shining star in our spectacular display of the Max Power era. Originally canary yellow, it now gleams in a flawless gloss cream. The car boasts Ecosse air suspension and a pioneering suicide door kit, with its brown bench-style seating adding a touch of retro elegance.
Don’t miss your chance to see these automotive marvels and more! The museum is open from 10am until 4.30pm Friday to Monday at Market Mews, Dundee, until the end of October.
