Gearing up for Drive-it Day on Sunday! Order your 'plate before Wednesday

Don’t delay – Order your Drive it Day plate before Wednesday!
That's the message from the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs as it gears up for the 2024 event on Sunday 21 April 2024.
To ensure getting your plate in time, the deadline for orders is 3pm on WEDNESDAY 16 APRIL.
Orders are sent by Royal Mail’s 24-hour service, which are normally delivered next day (Monday to Saturday) to most mainland UK addresses, however this is not a guaranteed service so please order early.
As this is a fundraising initiative, naturally ordering stays open after Wednesday, with orders sent out daily. Indeed, all orders received right up until Friday (19 April) at 3pm, will be sent out that day, so theoretically they will arrive on the Saturday.

National Drive It Day was created by the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs in 2005. It is the occasion when historic vehicle enthusiasts and the public at large have the opportunity to celebrate the One Thousand Mile Trial organised in 1900 to prove the viability of the new invention, the motor vehicle.
It’s also a chance to raise awareness and support amongst the public for the historic vehicle movement and keeping transport heritage on UK roads.
Once again, we are selling 'rally plates' to raise funds for the NSPCC's Childline and we hope to beat last year's £51,000 total!
There are events across the country, with dozens listed on our special website, with an interactive map so that you can find one near you https://www.driveitday.co.uk/events
