From Arundel to Scotland by Daimler & Lanchester

The 58th International Rally of the Daimler & Lanchester Owners' Club at Arundel from 17th - 20th July was well attended and a huge success, reports the club. It coincided with the 60th Anniversary of the club, which is still going strong.
There was a packed programme on the Wednesday, Thursday and Friday which included a visit to the Amberley Museum, the Tangmere Aviation Museum and a unique opportunity to drive three laps around the famous Goodwood Race Circuit.
Saturday evening saw the traditional Gala Dinner when one of the founder members Duncan Saunders spoke about driving Daimlers for 60 years and counting!
The Sunday static rally showed what a huge variety of vehicles there are in the DLOC, from a well preserved 1921 Lanchester to two modern Super V8 Daimlers from 2006 and anything in between.
Everyone is already looking forward to next year's event, which will be organised in and around the historic Crieff Hydro Hotel in Scotland.
