FBHVC JOINS WITH KING DICK TOOLS TO LAUNCH HERITAGE RANGE AT NEC CLASSIC

Published: 07/11/2018

The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs has joined with King Dick Tools to launch its new AKD Heritage Collection.

Starting out as Abingdon Engineering and manufacturing a range of components and motorcycles, the company developed into making high quality tools. Adopting the ‘King Dick’ name - after the company owner’s bulldog – it is the only remaining spanner manufacturer in the UK and has maintained proud links with Birmingham since 1856.

With a design inspired by the original tools, they are now being produced using state-of-the-art materials and processes, and tough, chrome-molybdenum and chrome-vanadium materials. Harking back to a time when prestigious cars of the 1950s and 1960s were equipped with King Dick tools, the new range will be a great addition to any toolbox.

The Abingdon King Dick Heritage Collection of high-performance classically styled tools is available as an exclusive collaboration between the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs and King Dick Tools.
