County Classics Motor Museum
Patrick Hawkins the founder and chairman of County Classic Motor Museum Taunton Somerset enjoyed a huge passion and love for motor vehicles. At the young age of 11 years, he bought and sold his first car happily spending time repairing and restoring a vehicle that needed to be brought back to life. This passion continued throughout his career, a dream one day he would fulfil his ambition to open a car museum in Somerset.
2023 will be a year to celebrate as County Classics Motor Museum finally opens its doors on 20 November and welcomes the public with the fulfilment of this major project.
The exhibits on show will predominantly range from late 1950s to the 1980s for motor vehicles and motorbikes from 1915 to the1980s.

We are overwhelmed by the interest shown by members of the public who have loaned the museum cars, motorbikes and memorabilia and we are very proud to have these to show.
We have an onsite cafe open to the public offering an array of drinks, light lunches and snacks, there is a gift shop situated in the lobby area selling motoring memorabilia and souvenirs.
We welcome motoring organisations where they can have a meeting or guided tour of the museum by appointment.
The museum is a non-profit charitable organisation and relies on donations, sponsorship and volunteers to keep it running.
Come along, share and enjoy this memorable experience of time gone by.
