Exclusive FBHVC Member Club Insurance Schemes 

Unique for offering complete liability cover on all safety-critical parts including brakes, suspension and steering, both here and in the US and Canada, PJI’s affordable club liability scheme is also the most comprehensive available in the UK.

Developed in partnership with FBHVC members, core policies are tailored to best suit each club’s unique needs and the following are included as standard:

Employers’ Liability (up to £10 million)

To protect your club against the cost of a compensation claim arising from employee or volunteer injury if sustained as a result of activities undertaken on behalf of your club.

Products Liability (£2 million or £5 million)

Covers the sale and provision of food and drink, regalia, memorabilia and printed literature. Can be increased to include the sale of new and remanufactured automotive parts, with no exclusions for safety critical parts. If required, cover can be extended further for worldwide distribution, including USA and Canada, with worldwide courts jurisdiction at very competitive premiums. It is essential to check your current policy to confirm whether your existing cover extends this far.

Public Liability (£2 million or £5 million)

To protect your club in the event of any members of the public suffering personal injury or property damage arising from any negligence due to your club activities. It will pay for the cost of subsequent legal expenses and compensation claims and is a general requirement by organisers for clubs attending shows and events. It also covers the cost of compensation claims under the Data Protection Act, including claims relating to breach of GDPR regulations, up to £250,000.

Professional Indemnity – includes libel and slander (£250,000)

To protect your club in respect of incorrect advice given to a club member or third party, for which a financial loss may then be incurred.  Can be extended to include vehicle valuations for an additional premium.  Cover extends to advice pertaining to Vehicles of Historic Interest.

All Risks Cover

Covers club property up to £1,000, anywhere in the UK, including at shows and events.

Money Cover

Covers up to £200 when attending shows and events.

All Club liability cover

Can also be extended as required to include: Buildings, Contents, Stock, Defective Workmanship, Directors and Offices, Cyber Liability and Legal Expenses.
