Cavalier and Chevette Club's Drive-it Day support - from Scotland to Cheshire and beyond...

Members of FBHVC-affliated club, the Cavalier and Chevette Club, took to the roads on Sunday (21 April) as part of Drive-it Day, promoting their increasingly-appreciated cars, adorned with FBHVC fund-raising 'rally plates'.
Club magazine editor Jane Miller, undertook a drive from her west Cheshire home right across the country to the eastern edge near Stoke-on-Trent. The hill in the background of the picture above is Mow Cop - the Cheshire/Staffs border runs across it.
She then chose to use St. Chad's Church at Over (mid-Cheshire) as a background for something a little different (below, left).
Meanwhile, a couple of club members members joined the Historic Wheels Club on their epic run from the mouth of the Spey to the furthest driveable point upstream, crossing every bridge over the river en route. Scottish Area Contact Marilyn Scott (below, right) is pictured by her very early Cavalier Mk.1 at the end of this remarkable Drive-it-Day adventure.
Finally, three Cavalier Mk.3 cars appeared as part of the Harborough Sports, Classic and Vintage Meet, Northamptonshire. The club Chairman's red car is on the extreme right, but the interest is the 'P'-reg car nearest the camera, this being registered after the very last Cavalier ever made, the famous N64 UWK. Even this P-plate is not the latest one registered, the club knows of a one carrying a 'W' plate!
