The Cardiff Transport Preservation Group (CTPG) are a transport charity based in South Wales. The CTPG lease an old Western Welsh Depot in Barry where our collection is stored and displayed, we organise two vehicle rallies each year and hold monthly meetings on the third Wednesday of each month at Penarth Conservative Club. Members receive a quarterly newsletter and if they wish, help restore the group’s vehicles, ride them and travel on them to rallies. The aim is to preserve representative examples of the buses that ran in South East Wales and the Valleys as well as the memorabilia and records of the companies they ran for.
