Market Lavington Vintage Meet Family Fun Weekend
The Elisha Field, Drove Lane, Market Lavington, Devizes, Wiltshire SN10 4DH

This popular event in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance and local community projects will have displays of vintage and classic cars/vans/motorcycles/commercial and tractors, military vehicles, stationary engines, miniature and full-size steam engines and miniature train for kids to ride on. Several car clubs will be having club stands. Wiltshire Air Ambulance fund raising team will be with us as well as Wiltshire Police and Wiltshire Wildlife Trust. We will have a static display of birds of prey from KandH Falconry, who will also be doing a flying demonstration in the arena on both days. There will be gun dog demonstrations in the arena from BASC. A fun dog show will take place in the arena on Sunday. There will be numerous trade and craft stalls as well as demonstrations and collectables. Several catering outlets will provide a delicious range of food and Botanico bars will be providing beer, wines and spirits from their converted classic 1976 VW bay window camper van. Children's entertainment will be a bouncy castle, swing carousel, fun house. We have again applied to the RAF for a flypast by aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and the Red Arrows.
Free parking. Please approach the site from the south (B3098) only. There is no access from the north. Drove Lane north of the event is unsuitable for motor vehicles.

Our 2024 National Rally will be held in Goathland, North Yorkshire. This weekend event will be held from the 26th to the 28th of July at the Goathland Community Hub.
Many will know Goathland as the filming location for the TV hit series 'Heartbeat' in which Goathland was known as Aisdensfield. The usual weekend events will take place such as the scenic/scatter run, evening meal, and car display on Sunday (our main event day).
There is plenty to see and do in the area including a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, a visit to the local town of Pickering, the village of Thornton-le-Dale (home to Matthewsons auction house of 'Bangers and Cash' fame), or a trip to the seaside in Whitby.

The informal evening, aimed at motoring enthusiasts, takes place outside the museum.
Free to attend - but pre-booking is required to manage numbers - they take place from 5pm – 8:30pm on the second Tuesday of each month.
Display vehicles will be parked in front of the Museum, and there is separate free parking for visitors who aren’t displaying. Visitors can enjoy refreshments including burgers along with hot and soft drinks.
Pre-booking is essential, and tickets will be released online a few weeks before each event and announced on social media.
In addition to providing an opportunity for like-minded motoring enthusiasts to display their vehicles, each Gathering features the 'Gaydon Garage' at 6:30pm when the workshop doors open to reveal one of the many unique vehicles from the collection before it’s driven around the site. News as to which car will emerge from the garage are posted on the social media channels in the run-up to the events.
Dogs are welcome on leads. Please note that the Museum itself will not be open for the evening gatherings.

The stunning Penshurst Place in Kent, a privately owned historic house of medieval origin, is the venue for Classics at Penshurst – a classic car event, being held on Sunday 18th August 2024, 10am to 4pm.
You can book your car pass, along with additional passenger tickets via www.classicsatpenshurst.co.uk. Admission on the gate will be £5 per person, accompanied under 16 year olds are free of charge. To ensure your spot we recommend you pre-book as this will save you some money and admissions on the day will be subject to availability.

Previously known as the Pre-1988 Vehicle Show, we are now extending this event to include all car clubs, regardless of the vehicles’ ages. We have recently taken on the lease of a new 7-acre Showground and are looking forward to showing off our new and improved facilities!

Your entrance fee is for the museum and it provides each entrant full access to the gardens, museum, rides on the 3 narrow gauge steam railways and the famous gallopers carousel.

Lytham Hall’s Autumn Classic Vehicle Show

This cost covers show entry for the vehicle, driver and passengers - and includes a voucher allowing you to purchase two discounted tickets for hall entrance. (Discount price with voucher £5 per person – normal price £9.50!)
Lytham Hall is the finest Georgian House in Lancashire - once the ancestral home of the colourful Clifton family - and has featured on “Antiques Road Show”. It is set in 80 acres of parkland about 1 mile from the town centre of Lytham itself. There are 3 floors with over 20 rooms, providing an insight into a fascinating past, which you can explore at your own pace.
There are ample on-site catering facilities and close proximity to the town centre offers the opportunity to enjoy all that “The Opal of the West” has to offer. For those wishing to make a weekend of it, there are numerous shops, restaurants, cafes and hotels nearby.
The show will be open to all eligible cars and motor bikes on a first-come first-served basis. Trade Stands will be in attendance.

FBHVC Club Expo 2025

Following the success of previous events, the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs (FBHVC) will host the next Club Expo on Saturday 18 January 2025 at the British Motor Museum, Banbury Road, Gaydon, Warwickshire, CV35 0BJ. Club Expo 2025 will deliver some new topics in addition to your favourite subjects such as DVLA and Insurance Question time. All discussions will be delivered in a plenary and due to the nature of the information available we shall endeavour to provide an extended lunchbreak to enable you to grab a bite to eat in the cafeteria and take some time to view the museum. Details will be provided in due course. Also featured will be a limited number of interesting companies we wish you to meet including traders whose specialisms are solely for the Club industry. No conflicting businesses will be present. As well as enjoying the talks we hope for you to meet other clubs and help towards building a community of like-minded historic vehicle enthusiasts. You never know, you may learn something invaluable for your club from another!
