The FBHVC have been working with the National Trust and English Heritage to celebrate the UK’s architectural heritage combining with the UK’s motoring heritage
Over the weekend of 10-11 September Heritage Open Days will celebrate the wealth of the UK’s architectural and cultural heritage when a great variety of properties that are normally closed to the public, or which normally charge an admission fee, are open free of charge, and play host to historic vehicle clubs who have agreed to meet at heritage venues.
In Europe, it is understood that displays of appropriate historic vehicles help promote both the vehicle movement and heritage properties thus linking historic vehicles with the well established heritage world and that an historic vehicle display can be a very effective means of enhancing a particular event or venue.
