What a wonderful day we had: the perfect weather brought out enthusiasts in their thousands with as wide a range of vehicles as could possibly be imagined. Our Drive It Day page shows the pictures and a short report from some of our member clubs, all of whom certainly seem to have enjoyed themselves immensely.
The Secretary represented the FBHVC at the Royal Oak in Bishopstone once again, at the kind invitation of Tim Finney, the landlord, who is a classic car enthusiast himself. It was a record breaking day with well over 150 vehicles of all kinds attending, from at least 40 FBHVC member clubs. There were motorcycles, military, commercial, VW campers, a micro car, and cars of all ages, sizes and degrees of rarity. A great time was had by all, sitting in the sunshine enjoying the superb food and drink the pub has to offer.

Drive It Day is of course an annual event and as Easter is slightly earlier next year, DID will be on Sunday 22 April 2012 – the nearest Sunday to 23 April.
